No swimming advisories over Labor Day weekend

The water in Franklin County should be fine for swimming this Labor Day Weekend. The Department of Health has issued no swimming advisories in the county again this week. The Health Department checks water quality at 6 local beaches every week, including 4 on St. George Island as well as Carrabelle Beach and Alligator Point. There were also no swimming advisories issued in Gulf or Wakulla Counties this week. You can see water sample results from beaches across Florida from the Department of Health’s healthy beaches website – which is linked to oysterradio.com.
