Seahawks get first win in school history

The Franklin County Seahawks now have their first win as a team. On Friday the Seahawks ended a 21 game losing streak after defeating the Cottondale Hornets 14 to zero in front of a home crowd. The Seahawks scored both of their touchdowns in the first half – the first was a 3 yard run by Arron Prince, the second a 32 yard run by DJ Lane. After that it was all defense which included a fourth down sack and an interception. The Seahawks are now 1 and 1 on the season, and will play an away game this week. Franklin County plays at Rocky Bayou on Friday – the game will be carried live on Oyster Radio 100.5 FM.
