C-Quarters Kingfish/Grouper Shootout Winners!!


$10,000 Kingfish Winner!


The C-Quarters Marina Kingfish/Grouper Shootout was held this past Saturday and Sunday (Sept 26th & 27th) with 74 boats participating. The Shootout paid out $33,000 in winnings and donated $45,000 to the Leukemia Research Foundation. Thanks to the fishermen and our sponsors we have now given a total of $600,000 for research in the past 7 years.


Just as general information the $10,000 winning team just got their 31' Cape Horn this past week, did not know how to fish for kingfish, did not know where to go but with a little instruction from Mr. Millard Collins. Dock Master, C-Quarters Marina, they won the big one. We had boats from 21' to 38' foot fish the shootout. Estimated crowd attending during the shootout is 2,000 people.
