Pics from the Florida Seafood Festival Day 2

Big crowds today for seafood festival. Here are a few pictures from the event including the oyster eating contest. There were 12 contestants this year, the winner was Gerald Hireman of Tallahassee who ate 28 dozen and 8 oysters in eight minutes. The winner in the Shucking contest was Mike Martin of Panama City Beach who shucked a dozen perfect oysters in 1 minute and 35.87 seconds. The Florida Seafood Festival will send him to the national shucking competition next year.
