Today is Veterans Day so county government workers will get today off to observe the holiday. All courthouse offices will be closed today as will the landfill on Highway 65. Public libraries in Eastpoint and Carrabelle are also closed today. Local banks are also closed as are Post Offices. Local public schools, however, are open today.
