Flood warning remains in effect for Apalachicola River

A flood warning remains in effect for areas along the Apalachicola River including Franklin, Gulf, Calhoun and Liberty Counties. The river level at Blountstown was at 18.4 feet on Wednesday and is expected to fall below 18 feet today – which is still 3 feet above flood stage. River levels are not expected to fall below 15 feet until sometime next week.
