Franklin County commissioners have awarded bids for two paving projects that will start in the next few weeks. The county awarded the projects to Peavey and Sons out of Havana.
The company will get about 283 thousand dollars to pave c-30A in Carrabelle from Marine Street to Highway 98 and about 215 thousand dollars to pave Avenue A in Eastpoint. Three companies bid on the two projects, Peavey and Sons was the low bidder.
