A portion of the Apalachicola Bay reopened to oyster harvesting at sunrise today. The Department of Agriculture reopened the conditionally Approved Winter West one area of the bay 1612 at sunrise this morning. That means the only area of the bay that is currently closed to oyster harvesting is area 1642 which includes Cat Point.
