July 20 Update - If you plan to go boating at night in Franklin County waters, you'll be glad to know you can plug in the Tier III boom coordinates to avoid hitting these valuable protective barriers. County leaders and emergency officials have worked with local contractors to create this online GPS resource. To see the actual boom locations and to collect the GPS coordinates, visit  http://deepwaterhorizonresponse.calvin-giordano.com Moderate southeast winds of 10-15 knots are forecast to continue through Thursday and officials do not forecast any impact to the Franklin County area through the 72 hour forecast period. A tropical wave in the Southwestern Atlantic just north of Puerto Rico has a 40% chance of becoming a tropical depression or tropical storm within the next 48 hours.
