Early voting is going strong in Franklin County

Early voting is going strong in Franklin County.
Registered voters are allowed to vote early for the November 2nd elections and already quite a few local voters have taken advantage of the program.
As of Tuesday nearly 600 people had voted in Apalachicola and Carrabelle.
Early voting has been allowed for a few years and has proved to be very popular because it saves voters from standing in long lines on Election Day.
For people who want to cast their ballots in local or statewide elections, you can early vote at the Election offices at 47 Avenue F in Apalachicola and at the county annex 1647 Highway 98 East in Carrabelle.
The locations are open for early voting from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Saturday.
This Saturday is the last day to early vote.
If you would like to look at a sample ballot before voting, check out the supervisor of elections webpage at www.votefranklin.com
