USDA Forest Service waives fees on Veterans Day

The Forest Service is working to ensure as many visitors as possible have the opportunity to experience

the great outdoors and take advantage of the many recreational activities America’s national forests and

grasslands have to offer.

Veterans Day, November 11, will be a Fee Free day on the Apalachicola National Forest.

By waiving fees, the Forest Service hopes everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonder and

rejuvenation of recreation on national forests and grasslands.

The Forest Service recreation sites listed are the only locations waiving day-use fees on Nov. 11:

Ocala National Forest
Apalachicola National Forest
Osceola National Forest
Fore Lake Day Use
Leon Sinks Geological Area
Olustee Beach Day Use Area
