Local photojournalist Richard Bickel will have his work on display at the state capitol beginning later this month.
The show will run from January the 17th through April 17th.
The work will include about 45 pictures from Bickel’s two Apalachicola books, as well as previously unpublished local images taken within the last year.
The solo exhibit will span the entire top floor of the capitol building which functions as a fine art gallery.
The show should draw attention to the Apalachicola Bay area.
This will be Richard Bickel’s third exhibit of Apalachicola images in Tallahassee -- he previously displayed his work at the Brogan Museum and in Governor Jeb Bush’s offices.
