February 8, 2011 For Immediate Release For more information, contact TDC administrative Office: 850-653-8678 Franklin County TDC to Host Social Marketing Workshop with Visit Florida Feb. 15 The Franklin County TDC will host a social marketing workshop on Feb. 15 featuring VISIT FLORIDA Social Marketing Representative Dorothy Thames.   The 3 p.m. workshop will be held at the Apalachicola Community Center at Battery Park and is open to the public. The workshop will feature examples of how VISIT FLORIDA integrates social media into its marketing endeavors as well as how social media tools such as Facebook can help local tourism businesses, lodging providers and event coordinators improve their attendance and visibility throughout the region.
