E-News for March 4th
Welcome new members:
Carrabelle River Marina and Fish Camp Restaurant on Timber Island (formerly The Tiki Hut) and The Naumann Group Real Estate, Inc.
Congratulations to Tamara Allen on a Successful
Trade Show Highlighting Carrabelle!
The Economic Development and the Historical Team of the Carrabelle Waterfronts Partnership worked with the Chamber of Commerce to participate in the recent North Florida Travel Expo at the Civic Center in Tallahassee . They promoted Carrabelle as a “staycation” site for Tallahassee . Although the display focused on “Visit Historic Carrabelle” they had information about places to stay and things to do here. The television media coverage was great. Two local channels, 6 and 27 had a shot of the Carrabelle display in their news story and website.

and show your support for Florida Tourism
Governor Scott , Florida 's "First Citizen," is becoming Share a Little Sunshine's first Chief Ambassador. On March 1, Governor Scott and a team of Florida ambassadors head north to take our winter-weary friends a little bit of sunshine - and invitations to visit our sunny state. With the Governor leading the charge, the team flies from Orlando to Washington , D.C. , Philadelphia , New York and Chicago , speaking to potential visitors and awarding great Florida vacation prizes along the way. When the two-day, four-city whirlwind tour ends in the Windy City , 120 lucky winners will board a chartered flight on Southwest Airline's Florida One plane and return with the Governor to Florida !
Help us launch the tour and show your support. Join Governor Scott, VISIT FLORIDA, Visit Orlando, the Partnership for Florida 's Tourism, the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management and others at this fun event.
