Increased DUI enforcement during chili cook-off

The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting a saturation patrol on March 5, 2011, in Franklin County. The saturation patrol or “wolf-pack” will concentrate on impaired drivers. Realizing the dangers of impaired driving, the Florida Highway Patrol wants to educate the public, remove impaired drivers from the roadways of Florida and help ensure a safe driving environment for all of Florida’s citizens.  A DUI “wolf-pack” helps address all of the above mentioned needs.

The motoring public is reminded to call *FHP (*347) to report impaired drivers or any other hazard on the roadway.
