Progress Energy to hold energy saving workshop in Apalachicola this month
Progress Energy will hold a special workshop in Apalachicola later this month to teach people how to save money on their electric bills.
The Energy Efficiency Discussion and Dinner which is being done in conjunction with the Hillside Coalition of Laborers for Apalachicola and the Apalachicola Community Redevelopment Agency will focus on helping customers better understand how they use energy while highlighting some simple, low- and no-cost changes they can make to lower their bills.
And not only Progress Energy provide energy-saving tips, customers will also be able to sign up for a no-cost Home Energy Check which will bring a power company worker to your home for much more specific energy-saving advice and to see whether you might be eligible for company rebates toward energy-efficient improvements.
The Energy Efficiency Discussion and Dinner will be held on Monday, March the 28th at AJ’s Bar and Grill in Apalachicola.
