Edward Charles “Chef Eddie” Cass, of Apalachicola, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his home.
A rosary will be said on Sunday, April 3 at 7 p.m at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Apalachicola. Services are planned for the church at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 4, with Father Roget Latosynski officiating.
Eddie was born Nov. 14, 1945 in Philadelphia.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Cass, of Salem, Mass.; wife Bettye, brothers Rob Cass, of Sturbridge, Mass. and William Cass, of Salem, Mass.; sister, Janet Bucossi, of Sebastian; three children, Edward Cass, of upstate New York, Robin Cass Buckley and grandsons Noah and Luke, of Cropseyville, NY, and Holly Masse and grandsons Easton and Rowan, of Manchester, Conn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 244 SR 65, Eastpoint, or to Meals on Wheels, 1 Avenue E, Apalachicola.
