News and Specials from Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratories

GULF SPECIMEN MARINE LABORATORIES

Dr. Anne Rudloe is one of the founders of Gulf Specimen Marine Lab and has dedicated her life to the study of Marine biology and the ocean. From publishing papers on horseshoe crabs to teaching kindergarten students about starfish, her love for the ocean is apparent. Her extensive knowledge is revealed in every class that she teaches, no matter what the age.
Join Dr. Rudloe on Monday, 25 April at 6 PM for a lecture about the diverse ecosystem of North Florida salt marshes. Have you ever sat down for a lovely shrimp dinner and wondered what was the story behind this plate of shrimp and how did it end up on your dinner plate? Find out about shrimp and other interesting sea life by joining us at the beautiful aquarium in Panacea. For more information on becoming a member or to register for the class please call 850 - 984-5297. The class is offered free of charge to our members.
