Wakulla County police arrest Carrabelle woman on drug charges


A Carrabelle woman was one of 13 people arrested on drug charges this week by Wakulla County officers.
The Wakulla County sheriff’s office said a 12 day long undercover narcotics operation netted 13 of the 17 suspects they were seeking with arrests related to a variety of narcotics charges including methamphetamines, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills.
The four additional suspects remain at large and are believed to be out of the area.
The arrests took place between March 23rd and April 4th.
12 of the suspects lived in either Crawfordville or Panacea, but there was one Franklin County resident caught up in the operation.
41 year old Carrabelle resident Mary Catherine Scarborough was arrested on April 3rd for possession and sale of cocaine.
She posted a $50,000 bond April 4 and was released.
