Fish and Wildlife officials arrested three men last week for fishing with a monofilament gill net in the Apalachicola Bay.
Monofilament nets are banned in Florida waters.
The officers saw the men fishing together from two boats so they conducted a stop for a fisheries inspection.
The men pushed the monofilament net overboard and abandoned it but it was too late to get away with anything.
And these three seem to be used to getting caught.
Prior to these arrests, the three suspects combined have been cited over 70 times for resource violations in Wakulla and Franklin counties.
The FWC says their investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected in connection to the monofilament net.
