PWS # 1230545
DATE: June 13, 2011
TO: Customers on Garrison Ave from 10th St. to 16th St. and Hunter Circle
Due to an accidental loss in pressure in a water line that supplies your drinking water, there is a concern for possible contamination. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may used for these purposes.
When the main has been repaired and flushed. A bacteriological sample of the water will be collected and sent to the laboratory. This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the bacteriological sample shows the water is safe to drink.
