A 65 year old Eastpoint man was killed in a one car accident on Highway 65 just after midnight on Thursday.
Lee Stuart Paulson was killed after his 2003 Toyota Tundra flipped over while Mister5 Paulson was trying to navigate a curve about 3 miles north of Eastpoint.
The highway patrol said Mister Paulson was heading north on Highway 65 when he traveled off the roadway on to the east shoulder of the road.
He overcorrected trying to get the Tundra ob the blacktop and the vehicle flipped over several times throwing Mister Paulson from the cab.
He was pronounced dead at the scene – the highway patrol along with the Franklin County sheriff’s office and the Franklin County EMS responded to the scene.
