Tallahassee and Apalachicola saw record temperatures this week

North Florida saw some record breaking temperatures this week.

The National Weather Service said temperatures hit 105 degrees at the Tallahassee Airport on Wednesday.

That’s not only a record for that day, it’s the hottest temperature ever recorded in Tallahassee.

The previous record was 104 degrees set in 1933.

A record high temperature was also recorded in Apalachicola on Wednesday.

The thermometer touched 98 degrees, breaking the old record of 94 degrees for June 15th that was set last year.
