No swimming advisories for Franklin County this weekend


The weather may not cooperate, but if you plan on swimming this weekend you don’t have to worry about water quality issues at least in Franklin County.

The Department of Health said all of the popular beaches in Franklin and Wakulla counties are showing good water quality this week.

There was one advisory issued for Beacon Hill Beach in Gulf County.

The Florida Department of Health takes weekly water samples swimming area around Florida, including 6 locations in Franklin County and Gulf County and 2 in Wakulla County to make sure there are no dangerous bacteria in the water.
