Tallahassee Regional Airport Upgrades Security Checkpoint Process
Passengers have more room to prepare for TSA screening - In response to input provided directly by customers, the Tallahassee Regional Airport has improved the security screening process for airline passengers.
Additional roller tables have been installed at the Tallahassee Regional Airport's security checkpoint to lengthen the tables and provide more area to passengers as they prepare to process through security. These additional tables will allow passengers more room to place their carry-on property for screening by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel. As a result, passengers proceeding through the screening process should do so in a more orderly fashion.
"Staff observations and customer feedback indicated bottlenecks were occurring at the security checkpoint, primarily because of insufficient lengths of tables for passenger use," said Airport Director Sunil Harman. "Aviation staff worked closely with TSA personnel to implement these improvements. This most recent upgrade is another example of how we are listening to our customers and working hard to make improvements at the Tallahassee Regional Airport."
The Tallahassee Regional Airport thanks its passengers for their continued patronage of their hometown airport.
