Tickets Still Available For “Tailgating With a Purpose”
Tallahassee, FL – Tickets are still available for Covenant Hospice’s “Tailgating With a Purpose,” a fundraiser that will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at Langford Green outside Doak Campbell Stadium. The event will celebrate the return of football season with a concert by Sarah Mac Band and Wilson Dean Band, a silent auction, and the opportunity to win a package that includes four tickets to the Florida State vs. Oklahoma football game on September 17. Tickets are available for advance purchase or at the door, and parking is complimentary.
Proceeds of the event will support Covenant Hospice’s unfunded programs in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla counties. Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. “We accept patients without regard for their ability to pay, and our fundraisers also support our unfunded support services, such as bereavement and chaplain services, and our children’s and volunteer programs,” said Lydia Claire Brooks, Development Manager for Covenant Hospice. “These programs are open to anyone in the community, whether or not they have had a loved one cared for by Covenant.”
