This August, Big Brothers Big Sisters will be at it again. With a sell -out crowd of 350, Big Bash 2010 went down as the cat’s meow of shindigs. Gear Up For Football Season With a Local Nonprofit
Tallahassee, FL – Covenant Hospice will host “Tailgating With a Purpose” from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at Langford Green outside Doak Campbell Stadium. Come show your school (or professional) spirit and celebrate the return of football season with a concert by Sarah Mac Band and Wilson Dean Band, food from local eateries, a silent auction, and the opportunity to win a package that includes four tickets to the Florida State vs. Oklahoma football game on September 17. The 2011 Coastal Cleanup is hosted by Keep Wakulla County Beautiful and The Ocean Conservancy.You choices of sites: St. Marks Refuge, Mashes Sands, Bottoms Road, Shell Point, Ochlockonee Bay or Woolley Park.
A free lunch will be served to volunteers at Woolley Park at 11:30am. Raffles and door prizes.
