Federal investigation spreads blame on BP oil spill

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement and the U.S. Coast Guard Joint Investigation Team has released its final report on the Deepwater Horizon oil gusher.
The Joint Investigation Team last April to investigate the causes of the Deepwater Horizon explosion, loss of life, and resulting oil spill, and to make recommendations for safer operations for future oil and gas drilling.
The report is in two volumes plus an addendum.
The report spreads the blame for the disaster around to BP, as well as its contractors, the drillers and rig operators, including Transocean and Halliburton.
It also includes dozens of recommendations that could significantly change how the offshore oil drilling industry operates in the gulf.
The final report was created after seven public hearings and the testimonies of 80 witnesses and experts.
You can see the entire report for yourself on-line.
