Governor Rick Scott has appointed Charles “Chuck”
Roberts to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Mister
Roberts lives in Tallahassee.
He has
been the president of C.W. Roberts Contracting since 1976.
He has a
long history of public service.
Mister
Roberts served on the governing board of the Northwest Florida Water Management
District from 1989 to 2001.
He also
was director of the Florida
Transportation Builders’ Association for 20 years as well as the director of
the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida for 10
years.
He was also
appointed to serve on the Liberty County School Board
for one year in 1978.
Chuck
Roberts succeeds Rodney Barreto on the commission; his term will end on August
1, 2016.
