New Members
A Country Place 
Ouida Sack joined the chamber with her business, A Country Place, which sells handmade quilts, silk and fresh floral arrangements, Sorrelli jewelry, Egyptian crystal ornaments and perfume bottles.  She also has Yankee candles, Fantasy Creation Elves, kitchen gadgets, a complete line of baby gifts. Ouida is open Wednesday-Saturday from 10:00 am-4:00pm.  A Country Place is located at 994 C. C. Land Road in Eastpoint.  You can reach Ouida by calling (850) 670-1073.
 
Retsyo, Inc.
Welcome John Lee proprietor of Retsyo, Inc., an antique and collectible store in downtown Apalachicola.  Retsyo, which is oyster spelled backwards, sells the beautifully illustrated t-shirts with historic Apalachicola seafood labels on the front.  He also sells tupelo honey, has lots of information, and really cool Apalachicola specific antiques such as old wooden oyster containers, fish weirs, and movie memorabilia.  John has been in business in Apalachicola since 1974. Retsyo open Monday- Saturday from 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Saturday 12:00-5:00 pm and is located at 82 Market Street in Apalachicola. Printing On Demand
Welcome Dave Dill with his business Printing On Demand which he started in 2004.  Dave has been in the printing business for 30+ years.  After selling his business in Columbus, Georgia, he relocated to Wakulla County to be near friends.   Printing on Demand prints business cards, rack cards, brochure, flyers and more.  Dave also does screen printed T-shirts, full color signs and banners (up to 42” wide), plus promotional items such as cups, pens, koozies, and just about anything you can think of.  Call Dave for a quote at (850) 926-4000 or email him at printingondemand@comcast.net.  His website is www.printingondemand.info

Senator Bill Montford Holds Open House
State Senator Bill Montford has established a satellite office in Apalachicola on Market Street (US Highway 98) and Avenue D, adjacent to the Natural Medicine Store.  He and his staff will host a open house on Thursday, October 13th, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Oyster Roast November 4th
Love oysters?  Of course you do.  Join us on November 4th and eat your fill.  We’ll have roasted, raw, stewed and marinated oysters, plus steamed shrimp, salads, blue crab and homemade desserts.  Tickets are $50.00 each or $85.00 for a pair.  They are selling fast so call or stop by to purchase yours today at the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce, 122 Commerce Street in Apalachicola (850) 653-9419.

Volunteers Needed
