 Christmas Events Continue This Weekend
Santa will be in Eastpoint on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 6-8 at the Pavillion on Patton Drive. Come decorate the Christmas tree, enjoy some holiday cheer, treats for the kids and see Santa. On Saturday, Dec. 2 St. George Island's  annual Island Lights festivities begin at 5 pm at mid-island in the St. George Lighthouse Park . The one mile "Jingle Jog" starts at 5 pm on the bike path in front of Lighthouse Park and proceeds through the business district. There's no fee; it's a fun run and everyone is welcome! All runners will receive Santa hats for their heads and jingle bells for their shoes. Santa is expected to arrive by fire engine at approximately 6 p.m. to entertain and provide gifts to the children. Refreshments will include snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate. View the lighting of the island palms at sundown. On Saturday, Dec. 3, Apalachicola hosts the annual Fresh Market event in the historic downtown commercial district. The Holiday Fresh Market features handmade, fresh products, locally made baked goods and natural creations. Hassle-free holiday shopping where you'll find unique gifts.
