WEATHER ALERT for FL - Franklin County

.FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY
MORNING.

.A RIDGE OF SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL SETTLE INTO THE REGION
TONIGHT. THE RIDGE POSITION WILL ALLOW WINDS TO BECOME LIGHT OR
CALM AFTER MIDNIGHT. THESE LIGHT WINDS ALONG WITH A DRY AIRMASS
WILL RESULT IN RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPS. TEMPS ARE
EXPECTED TO APPROACH OR FALL A FEW DEGREES BELOW FREEZING ACROSS
A LARGE PORTION OF AREA LATE TONIGHT. NORMALLY COLDER INLAND
LOCATIONS MAY BRIEFLY REACH THE UPPER 20S TOWARD SUNRISE.
LOCATIONS CLOSE TO THE COAST & IN MORE URBANIZED SETTING ARE
CURRENTLY NOT ANTICIPATED TO DROP BELOW FREEZING.HOWEVER
TEMPS IN THE MIDDLE 30S SHOULD STILL SUPPORT THE
DEVELOPMENT OF FROST.
