FWC to hold hunter safety course in Wakulla County this month

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will hold a free hunter safety Internet-completion course in Wakulla County later this month.

The one- day course will be held on December the 17th at the Otter Creek Range in Crawfordville.

Its for hunters who have already taken the on-line portion of the class but still need to finish the shooting range portion.

People interested in attending this course can register online at MyFWC.com/HunterSafety or by calling the FWC’s regional office in Panama City at 850-265-3676.

The hunter safety course is required for people born on or after June 1, 1975, to purchase a Florida hunting license.

The FWC course satisfies hunter-safety training requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces.
