Operation emerald Warrior will be heating
up over the next few weeks.
Operation
Emerald Warrior is an Air Force Special Operations Command designed to train
forces with lessons learned from Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Operation
Emerald Warrior has been going on for a few weeks – the operations is scheduled
to run through March the 12th.
The
operation includes ground and air mobility operations including the use of
helicopters and fixed wing aircraft as well as live and simulated munitions
training.
The
groups do not intend to go on private property and have been coordinating with
local low enforcement and any property owners that might be affected by the
operation.
The
military says the impact on civilians should be minimal – but that doesn’t mean
it won’t be loud at times.
