Three times a year we celebrate our community and offer the opportunity to visit our beautiful village. We have had the Boat Parade of Lights and Camp Gordon Johnston Days, and now the Riverfront Festival is with us. Friday evening, we will be sponsoring a Vendor Welcome Party at Harry’s Courtyard. Refreshments will be served at approximately 6:00 p.m. This would be a wonderful opportunity to do some Net-working and introduce our businesses to our visitors.
The Chamber of Commerce, together with Carrabelle Cares, will be hosting the “Welcome Tent” for those coming to our Riverfront Festival. We need volunteers to staff this booth, as well as to drive the hospitality and/or refuse golf carts. Please contact Wanda Rose at 850-545-5852 to volunteer your time. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you can give us a minimum of two hours, that would help tremendously.
We also have a few tents that need to be set up and taken down. If there is anyone who can help us with this endeavor, we would appreciate it. We look forward to having an extremely successful festival. Please volunteer a few hours of your time.
