Local Democrats to caucus Saturday for state convention delegates

The Democratic Party of Franklin County will hold a caucus this week to select delegates to the State Democratic Convention.

The caucus will be held on Saturday at the Water Street Hotel in Apalachicola.

Any Democrat registered to vote in Franklin County can vote in the caucus between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Voters will choose two delegates to represent Franklin County at the State Democratic Convention in Tampa this summer.

At the state convention those delegates will then choose delegates to represent Florida at the National Convention in North Carolina.
