Telemarketers violating Flori da ’s
“Do not Call List” topped the list of consumer complaints during the month of
May.
The Flori da
Department of Consumer Services has begun issuing a monthly list of consumer
complaints, violations of the do not call list have topped the last three.
That was followed by complaints about
telemarketing in general and credit banking rounded out the top three.
The Department of Consumer Affairs said
more that 3900 complaints were made during May over the state’s consumer hotline.
