REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
LEASE OF COMMERCIAL-USE AIRCRAFT HANGAR/OFFICE FACILITY
And FBO FACILITY


The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals from firms
interested in entering into leases of Business opportunities at FRANKLIN COUNTY/
APALACHICOLA REGIONAL AIRPORT.


The Board is soliciting proposals for two items.


Item #1- Full Service FBO facility – maintenance hanger & office, numerous
aviation shops, offices, pilots lounge and conference room; fuel farm; five (5) “T” hanger
buildings--each containing six (6) or seven (7) individual “T” hangers, and a secured
fenced parking area (approximately 130’x180’). The FBO should expect to provide
typical full FBO services--including, hangar space, fueling services, ground handling,
aircraft and equipment maintenance, (possibly repair stations) rental cars and other
related FBO services.


Item #2- Newly constructed commercial use hanger (11,489 square foot hanger)
with 1600 square feet of office space (two ea at 800 sf.)


Proposals should include a detailed Business Plan of proposed use—detailing plan for job
creation, financial responsibility, and a track record of successful experience.


Proposals shall be sealed and delivered to the following address by 4:00 PM (Eastern)

Proposals will be opened at the next Franklin County Board of County Commissioners’
meeting on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Please submit seven (7) copies. Please identify
on the exterior of the sealed envelope whether the proposal is for Item #1 or Item #2.
