Airport Offers Paperless Check-inJuly 3, 2012Delta Air Lines Expands eBoarding Pass Option to TLH - The Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH), through Delta Air Lines, has announced the expansion of paperless eBoarding Passes to customers. This new passenger check-in option, launched at TLH last week, saves time by allowing customers who are flying on Delta to download their boarding pass directly to their mobile device and checking in at the passenger security checkpoint. Customers who check-in on delta.com or mobile.delta.com have the option of sending an eBoarding pass to their smartphone or other preferred mobile device. This allows passengers to avoid spending time at a computer, airport kiosk or ticket counter and having to use a paper boarding pass to process through the airport security checkpoint. Customers simply show their Delta eBoarding Pass to the Transportation Security Administration officer at the security checkpoint for scanning. While this service is currently only available to Delta Air Lines customers, the Tallahassee Regional Airport is working to incorporate this service for all air carrier passengers in the near future. Additionally, the Airport has recently unveiled equipment updates to the Passenger Flight Information Display System. Passengers will notice new arrival, departure and weather displays in the ticketing, baggage claim and center concourse areas of the terminal. "The Airport is dedicated to using innovative technologies to enhance customer convenience and improve the overall travel experience at TLH," said Airport Director Sunil Harman. "Our partnership with Delta Air Lines remains strong and we appreciate their assistance in bringing this customer service amenity online." The Tallahassee Regional Airport is owned and operated by the City of Tallahassee. TLH provides air service for a 100-mile market service area, including 32 counties in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Commercial air carriers include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways.
