Telemarketers violating Flori da ’s
“Do not Call List” topped the list of consumer complaints during the month of July.
The Flori da
Department of Consumer Services has begun issuing a monthly list of consumer
complaints, violations of the do not call list have topped the last five.
That was followed by complaints about people asking for Contributions and
Landlord/Tenant.issues.
The Department of Consumer Affairs said
more that 4800 complaints were made during May over the state’s consumer hotline.
