Franklin County Isaac update 12:35 PM
The EOC is currently at level 1 (full activation)
The morning briefing showed the tropical storm is SE of the mouth of the Mississippi River with
landfall in about 12 hours. The tropical storm watch is still in effect from Destin to the Aucilla
River, and may possibly be discontinued in the near future. At that time the EOC will go to a
level 3 or monitoring level. The Tropical storm wind speed probability is down is down to about
30%. Wind gusts are expected to be in 30-40 mph near the coast . Rainfall totals should be in
the 4 inch range with a maximum of 4-6 inches. The flash flood and river flood watches have
been discontinued. Surge is presently about 3 ½ feet with another 6 inches expected at high tide
around noon. The tornado watch will be in the slight risk range through Wednesday.
