Nature Photo Contest Entry Deadline is Monday August 27 Procceds Benefit the Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves The Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves is sponsoring its second Nature Photo Contest with an entry deadline of Monday August 27. Winning photos will be exhibited beginningSeptember 8 at the City of Apalachicola Center for History, Culture, and Art and later at thePreserves Center at the Buffer Preserve in Port St. Joe. Once again, the Apalachicola Center is graciously allowing us to use its facilities to exhibit winning photos. This year, photos will be exhibited at the same time as locally renowned nature photographer John Spohrer. Entry fees from this annual event will benefit the Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves. Friends pay discounted fees of $10.00 per photo. Other entrants pay $20.00 each or $50.00 for three photos. It is hoped that some of the exhibited photos showcasing the natural beauty of St. Joseph Bay and surrounding region will inspire you to protect the natural areas and heritage of St. Joseph Bay.
