2 killed in Crawfordville car accident

2 Tallahassee residents were killed in a two car accident in Crawfordville on Tuesday.

73 year old Sue Calhoun Preacher and 69 year old Daniel Lawrence Calhoun were killed when they swerved to avoid another vehicle and hit a power pole.

The highway patrol said the two were heading north on Highway 319 at about 10:30 Tuesday morning in a ford ranger.

They were at the intersection of Whiddon Lake road near the Dollar general when 91 year old Cora lee Green of Crawfordville turned across their lane.

Miss Preacher tried to avoid a collision but lost control of her vehicle.

The ranger hit several phone and cable boxes before hitting the utility pole and flipping over.

Miss Green was uninjured.
