Franklin County landfill begins accepting credit cards

The Franklin County landfill is becoming a little bit easier to use.

The landfill now accepts credit cards so you don’t have to bring cash whenever you haul trash to the site.

Solid waste director Fonda Davis said accepting credit cards is a way to modernize the facility.

But don’t bring American Express – the landfill accepts Discover cards, Mastercard and VISA.
