MEMORANDUM: Death Warrant in the Case of John Errol Ferguson

RE:           Death Warrant in the Case of John Errol Ferguson


Governor Rick Scott sent the attached transmittal letter today to Warden John Palmer regarding the carrying out of the sentence in the case of John Errol Ferguson.

Ferguson was convicted on eight counts of first degree murder, stemming from two separate incidents. The victims in the first incident were Henry Clayton, Randolph Holmes, Michael Miller, Charles Stinson, Livingston Stocker and Gilbert Williams. The victims in the second incident were Brian Glenfeldt and Belinda Worley.

The execution date has been set for Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at 6 p.m. Please find attached the transmittal letter sent today, as well as the death warrant.
