proudly flying both The Stars and Stripes, State of Florida and World War
Two remembrance flags as well as the P.O.W. Flag. And...we are proud to
announce that we are now part of the Florida WWII Military Heritage Trail.
As we currently expand, there are new partial exhibits on display while we
remodel. Learn about our plans! While visiting Saturday you'll also meet a
re-enactment group of WWII soldiers to give a little history on the true
Waffen SS soldiers.
And, returning author Kenneth Tucker will be on hand to autograph his book
"The Last Roll Call" telling of his experiences from the tail gunner
position on a B-17 while flying missions over Germany. In his book you can
also learn about what Franklin County was like as he grew up here in the
30's and early war years.
We're waiting for you with Music, refreshments and films. Oh yeah, I almost
forgot; in addition to our beautiful beaches, some great Franklin County
restaurants are also waiting for your dining pleasure.
