Tobacco Free Partnership Meeting of Gulf County

Please join us for a VERY important Tobacco Free Partnership of Gulf County Meeting
GUEST SPEAKERS from Civic Communications to discuss Action Planning
 Tuesday, September 25th at 2:00 CST/3:00 EST
Located at either one of our Health Department Conference Rooms

What is the Gulf County Tobacco-Free Partnership and why is it so important?
During the first year of the Florida Tobacco Pilot Program, Community Partnerships were established in each of Florida's 67 counties.  These partnerships bring together dedicated and concerned community members and youth to promote tobacco control at the local level.  Each Partnership plans and implements activities to meet the goals of the Division of Health Awareness and Tobacco and the needs of the community.
Our intention is to continue forming community partnerships with individuals and organizations to educate and engage the citizens of Gulf County regarding tobacco prevention, cessation and policy change initiatives.
The mission is to create a tobacco-free atmosphere for Gulf County by:
·       Preventing the initiation of tobacco use among youth and young adults
·       Eliminating secondhand smoke exposure
·       Promoting cessation from tobacco use
Thank you so much for your support and I look forward to working with you throughout the year!
