Florida Prepaid College program open enrollment is now open

If you have a child that you hope will one day go to college but you don’t know how to afford it, then its time to check out the Florida Prepaid College Plans.

Open enrollment for the plans began Monday and will continue through January the 31st.

There are 4 pre-paid plans that let you pre-pay for your child’s college education.

The various plans can cover the costs of tuition, local fee and dormitory housing plans, at Florida’s 11 public universities and 28 state colleges.

Since 1988, families have purchased more than 1.5 million Florida Prepaid College Plans,
making it the largest and longest continuous operating prepaid plan in the nation.

The plan’s value is also transferable to most accredited private and out-of-state colleges.
A prepaid college savings plan can be purchased for children and grandchildren as soon as they are born and up until the 11th grade.
Families can visit www.myfloridaprepaid.com or call 1-800-552-GRAD (4723) to order an Enrollment Kit in English or Spanish and speak to a customer service representative.
