NWFWMD TALLAHASSEE FIELD OFFICE TO RELOCATE

TALLAHASSEE—The Northwest Florida Water Management District’s Tallahassee field office will relocate to the Carr Building in northwest Tallahassee this week. By reducing square footage more than a third and negotiating a lease that includes utilities and janitorial services, the District will save taxpayers over $81,000 annually.

The Tallahassee office is one of two District field offices (the other is in Crestview) that administer the District’s environmental resource permitting program. The field office is staffed by stormwater engineers, environmental scientists/biologists, field inspectors and administrative professionals.

The move will take place Oct. 24-25. During this time, there may be brief periods where the phone and Internet are down. The District apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause our constituents.
