Legal Services of North Florida to host free legal clinic in Bay County

Legal Services of North Florida attorneys will host a FREE Legal Clinic in Panama City next Monday to help low-income residents and small business owners who want advice on their eligibility under the BP Oil Spill claims process.

All participants in the clinic will have an opportunity to discuss their claim with an attorney unless a conflict of interest is found.

Free full representation may follow if the claimants meet eligibility requirements.

Legal assistance is offered to clients whose income is below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.

The clinic will be held Monday, February 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Time at the Bay County Government Center at 840 W. 11th Street in Panama City.

Walk-ins are welcome, but attendees with appointments will be given first priority.

To request an appointment, call (850) 769-3581.

Legal Services of North Florida is a private non-profit agency dedicated to providing free legal representation to low-income people.
